# Weekly review: what worked

Course: [Analytics Without the Paranoia](https://the-app.fyi/academy/analytics-without-paranoia)
Lesson 3 of 4 · 3–5 min

### Fifteen minutes, max

Once a week — a 15-minute ritual. No more.

### Review template

1. **Top 2** by retention / saves — why did they land? (hook, topic, format)
2. **Bottom 2** — where did people drop? (weak open, length, off-niche)
3. **One insight** in one sentence
4. **Plan:** 2 repeats of what worked + 1 new test

### Questions for yourself

- Did this land with my audience or randoms?
- Did people save — or only like?
- Were there profile visits?
- Are there comments with topics for next content?

### What not to do

- Rewriting the whole strategy every Sunday.
- Deleting every “imperfect” post out of panic.
- Comparing your Wednesday to someone else’s best clip of the year.

> **Not a trial:** Rewrite the whole strategy every Sunday.
Delete every “imperfect” post out of panic.
Compare your Wednesday to someone else’s best video of the year.

## Check yourself

What’s the most useful outcome of a weekly review?

1. A three-page self-roast list
2. One insight + a concrete plan of repeats and one test
3. Decision to delete the account
4. Buying a course on “the secret algorithm 2027”

Explanation: Analytics should turn into actions. An insight without a plan is just worrying.
