# Regular bans: how you get there

### Bans without the mysticism

A **regular ban** is when the platform clearly limits or disables the account: you can’t log in, can’t post, you see “community guidelines” / a lockout. No mystique.

### How people usually end up banned

It’s not always “one evil click.” More often it’s a **pattern**:

1. **Mass actions** — follow/unfollow in bulk, spam in DMs and comments
2. **Gray services** — shared logins, automation, turnkey bots
3. **Fake growth** — reports, abnormal activity, ties to spam networks
4. **Content policy violations** — banned topics, deception, repeat strikes
5. **Suspicious access** — weird logins, hacks, “help me set it up” through someone else’s hands

> Fake growth alone isn’t always an instant ban. But it often rides with the points above. And the platform reads that as risk.

### What can happen after

- Temporary lockout for hours/days
- Permanent ban
- Limits on specific features (live, ads, posting)
- Loss of access to business tools

> Recovery isn’t always possible. Sometimes a “new account” is the only way out. And yes — old schemes often infect the new profile too.

### The rule

> **Growth rule:** If you can’t calmly explain your growth method to your mom *and* platform support — it’s probably a path to risk, not to an audience.
