# The same block every time

### A system — or bot copy-paste?

Classic move: save 30 “best” tags in Notes → paste under every post → “hey, I’ve got a system.”

> To the platform, that often looks less like a system and more like **bot copy-paste**.

### Why it’s a bad idea

1. **Posts differ — tags don’t.** Yesterday a recipe, today the gym, same “universal” tags. Relevance tanks.
2. **Repeating one block** — an automation / spam pattern.
3. **One toxic tag** in an eternal list poisons *every* post in a row.
4. You stop thinking — and tags should describe *this* content.

### What to do instead of copy-paste

- Keep a **pool** of 30–60 solid niche tags.
- For each post, pick a **fresh five** (or so) from the pool.
- Change at least **a third to half** of the set from post to post.
- Reels / carousel / static can use different sets — and that’s fine.

### Quick test

Open your last 5 posts. If the hashtags are **byte-for-byte** identical — time to rotate.

> **The cost of saving time:** Copy-paste saves 20 seconds. Rotation saves months of “why did my reach die.”
