### A set for this post

Forget the “universal list for every occasion.” A set is built **for a specific post**. On Instagram you get a max of **5** slots — so each one has to earn its place.

### The 5-slot framework

Fill them in order. An empty slot beats junk.

**Slot 1** (Niche / community)

`#homeworkout`

**Slot 2** (Post topic)

`#athomeworkouts`

**Slot 3** (Detail (angle, level, format))

`#15minuteworkout`

**Slot 4** (Format or geo)

Examples: **Format or geo** — only if it's truly about that. `#reels` or `#austinfitness`

**Slot 5** (One broad tag — max)

`#fitness`

> No honest geo or format? Slot 4 becomes another mid/narrow topic tag. Don't pad with `#viral`.

### Mini algorithm in 60 seconds

1. In one sentence: **what is this post about?**
2. Write down 8–10 candidates.
3. Cross out anything that isn't about *this* content.
4. Keep 3–5. Done.

### TikTok / Shorts

Same logic: **3–5**, niche + topic. No empty `#fyp #foryou #viral` filler.

What's the right way to start a set?

1. With the five most popular tags on Earth
2. With the niche and topic of this exact post
3. With the same block as yesterday
4. With `#fyp`, then meaning later

Explanation: Slots are limited. First describe the post, then — at most one broad tag. Popularity without relevance is almost useless.
